Dr. Mohammad Reza Zarindast was born in 1316 in Borujerd city. He started his elementary education at Atizad Elementary School in Borujerd and completed his secondary education at the former Pahlavi High School in Borujerd
He started his higher education in 1337 in the field of pharmacy at the Faculty of Pharmacy of Tehran University and graduated in 1342. He completed additional courses at the London College of the University of England (England)
He is currently working as a faculty member and specialist professor of the Department of Pharmacology in the Faculty of Medicine of Tehran University
Mr. Dr. Mohammad Reza Zarindast, in addition to being a member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences, has other responsibilities such as the research assistant of the National Addiction Center of Iran, a member of the Physiology and Pharmacology Association of Iran, responsible for the Ph.D course of the Institute of Cognitive Science Studies, and a member of the Institute’s Research Council. He is also in charge of cognitive science and membership in the research council of the theoretical physics center
Dr. “Zarindast”‘s honors include: Exemplary Researcher from the Ministry of Health (1379). The director of pharmacology department mentioned for two years from 14/4/61
He is a researcher and professor at the Faculty of Medicine of Tehran University of Medical Sciences and a professor at the Department of Pharmacology and is one of the top five elites in the field of medicine in the world. He became one of the top scientists in the world
